Baseball Recap: Sequoyah Victorious

The Indians took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against the Eagles, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Sequoyah Indians skirted past the Sequoyah Eagles 4-3. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 13-6 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2017.

The Indians' victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for the Eagles, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-13 record this season.

The Indians didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-1 loss against the Bulldogs on the 1st. As for the Eagles, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-6 win against the Rangers on the 1st.
