Softball Recap: Everman Comes Up Short

After flying high against Keene on Tuesday, Everman came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell 7-3 to the Southwest Raiders on Thursday. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Ariel Cooks made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Everman's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Southwest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3-1.

Coincidentally, Everman and Southwest will both be playing Millsap the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Raiders will head out to face them at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
