Kyle Wilson Game Report: @ Flour Bluff

On Friday, Kyle Wilson posted his first game with 10+ total tackles. He picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss), but sadly Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial still had to take a 31-20 loss at the hands of Flour Bluff. That new career-high tops his previous best of five total tackles (the last time he made that many was last Thursday.

Coming up, Wilson and Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial will head out to take on Vela at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Wilson's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Eagles' six-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Wilson and the Eagles surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Friday's match.
