Baseball Recap: Wilson Comes Up Short

Wilson fell victim to Charter Oak and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 8-0. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Wilson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Charter Oak, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Charter Oak beat Wilson by a score of 9-0 on Friday.
