Football Game Preview: Laurel Locomotives vs. Havre Blue Ponies + How To Watch

Laurel is 8-0-1 against Havre since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Locomotives will host the Blue Ponies at 7:00 p.m. Laurel will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Laurel is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 50-0 victory over Browning. The result was nothing new for the Locomotives, who have now won five contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

Laurel's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Curtis Fox, who rushed for 91 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries. Fox has been hot recently, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Isaiah Burt was another key pass catcher, picking up 131 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Havre faced East Helena in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Blue Ponies lost 35-14 to the Vigilantes. The Blue Ponies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Laurel's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Havre, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Laurel beat Havre 35-28 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Do the Locomotives have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Ponies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
