Preble Shawnee falls despite big games from Isabella Agee and Ashleigh Mondello-garrett

Recap: Preble Shawnee Arrows vs. Monroe Hornets
The Preble Shawnee Arrows lost against the Monroe Hornets back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Preble Shawnee took a 31-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Monroe. Preble Shawnee has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Preble Shawnee's loss came despite strong showings from Ashleigh Mondello-garrett and Isabella Agee. Mondello-garrett scored three points along with six rebounds and six steals, while Agee scored eight points along with six rebounds. Mondello-garrett is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games she's played.
Preble Shawnee has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Monroe, the win got them back to even at 11-11.
Preble Shawnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monroe, they will head out on the road to challenge Turpin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Turpin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Saturday.
