Baseball Recap: Forreston Comes Up Short

Forreston and Fulton squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Forreston had to settle for second. They fell 7-4 to the Steamers. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Steamers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Forreston saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendall Erdmann, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double. Another was Daniel Koehl, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Forreston's defeat dropped their record down to 27-8. As for Fulton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-13.

As of now, neither Forreston nor the Steamers have any future games scheduled.
