It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lone Star had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Highland Park Scots 58-38. Considering the Rangers have won 13 matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Trey Wright was his usual excellent self, throwing for 502 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 183 yards while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. Those 502 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Zach Forbish was Wright's top target, picking up 190 receiving yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lone Star was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 268 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 160 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Lone Star didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Nico Viveros and Bryant Robinson. Viveros is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last 12 games he's played.
