Palisade not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since January 31st (when they won 69-45). They blew past the Lutheran Lions 83-63. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the defeat, Lutheran saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mason Clark shot 67% from the field to rack up 16 points. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for Clark. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Ross, who posted six points and three steals.

Palisade has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 78.0 points this season. As for Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Palisade has already played their next game, a 60-34 victory against Aspen on the 8th. As for Lutheran, they will square off against Palmer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
