Webb and Knoxville Catholic are an even 4-4-2 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Spartans will head out to square off against the Fighting Irish at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Webb's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Webb and Baylor had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Spartans lost 4-0 to the Red Raiders on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Webb can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Baylor are ranked 31st).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Knoxville Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Morristown-Hamblen West by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

Knoxville Catholic hit the Trojans with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Noah Perkinson, Marcos Garcia, and Connor Gray.

Knoxville Catholic's record is now 6-4-2. As for Webb, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1.

Webb might still be hurting after the 5-1 defeat they got from Knoxville Catholic when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
