Softball Recap: San Diego Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for San Diego's offense. They came up short against the Canyon Hills Rattlers on Thursday, falling 13-0. The Cavers haven't had much luck with the Rattlers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

San Diego's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Canyon Hills, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Coming up, San Diego is taking a road trip to square off against University City at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cavers are facing the Centurions at the right time seeing as the Centurions are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Canyon Hills, they will be playing at home against Mission Bay at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buccaneers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Rattlers surely won't give up without a fight.
