Softball Recap: Garden Grove Takes a Loss

Garden Grove's tournament run continued when they took on Mayfair on Tuesday. The Argonauts took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monsoons. The Argonauts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Garden Grove saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nati Sualua-Orozco, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Garden Grove's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Mayfair, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Garden Grove will host Ocean View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mayfair, they will head out on the road to square off against La Mirada at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Matadores will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
