Baseball Recap: North Fremont Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Fremont can now relate to. They lost 8-1 to the New Plymouth Pilgrims on Saturday. The Huskies just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

North Fremont saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Garrett Owens, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

North Fremont's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-1. As for New Plymouth, the win got them back to even at 14-14.

North Fremont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Plymouth, they will venture away from home to face off against Orofino at 2:10 p.m. on Saturday. The Maniacs will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something the Pilgrims surely won't give up without a fight.
