Spooner has gone a perfect 9-0 against Barron recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rails will face off against the Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m. Spooner is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Barron's offense. They took a blow against Northwestern on Friday, falling 56-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Golden Bears were not able to get on the board.

Spooner's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Barron, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Spooner strolled past Barron in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 35-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rails since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
