Soccer Game Preview: Xenia vs. Bethel

The Xenia Buccaneers will challenge the Bethel Bees at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Xenia's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Xenia turned things around against Wayne on Thursday. They and the Warriors finished up their game with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Xenia's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Bethel kept a clean sheet against Milton-Union on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for Bethel, who have now won three contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Xenia's draw makes their record 1-5-1 this season. As for Bethel, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
