Rogers came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Providence Academy Lions.

Rogers easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17.

Rogers' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emily Hoyt, who had three digs and two aces. That's the most aces Hoyt has posted over her last six matches.

Rogers' win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Providence Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.

Rogers has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Wayzata on the 11th. As for Providence Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Southwest Christian on the 10th.
