Volleyball Recap: Wahoo Warriors vs. Oakland-Craig Knights
Wahoo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oakland-Craig Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Thursday.
Josie Larson paced Wahoo's offense, picking up eight kills. Larson got some help from Avah Bowers and her nine assists. Finally, Claire Emerson kept Wahoo's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
Wahoo's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Oakland-Craig, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.
Looking ahead, Wahoo will head out on the road to face off against Ashland-Greenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oakland-Craig, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Mercy on the 20th.
