Volleyball Recap: Maplesville Takes a Loss

Maplesville lost against Thorsby last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red Devils fell 2-0 to the Rebels. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Maplesville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Thorsby, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Maplesville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Verbena on the 29th. As for Thorsby, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Jemison on the 27th.
