Baseball Recap: Lima Senior Takes a Loss

Lima Senior extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 4-10 in the process. They came up short against the Whitmer Panthers, falling 16-0. The Spartans were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Whitmer's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Whitmer's part, they got a massive performance out of Brayden Bannister, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kam Mcdonald, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lima Senior will challenge Start at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lima Senior's pitchers better be ready for this one: Start has averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Whitmer, they will square off against Ross at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
