Land O' Lakes proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by eight) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes. The Gators haven't had any issues with the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Land O' Lakes got a great performance from Aiden Marsiglio as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. Marsiglio has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.
