Basketball Recap: Restoration Academy Takes a Loss

Restoration Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Lee Park Prep Knights and fell 76-37.

Lee Park Prep was led to victory by Isaac Watkins and Cole O' Donoghue. Watkins shot 4-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten assists, while O' Donoghue went 11-for-17 on his way to 26 points and three steals. That's the most assists Watkins has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Adams, who put up five points and seven rebounds.

Restoration Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Lee Park Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Restoration Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lee Park Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Tournament Team at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
