Softball Recap: Louisville Takes a Loss

Louisville lost against Houston back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 14-2 to the Hilltoppers.

Ker'rhianna Parker was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Re'Niya Savior, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases.

Louisville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7-1 record this season. As for Houston, the win snapped their losing streak at 13 games and leaves them with a 6-16 record.

While Louisville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
