Millburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the West Essex Knights. Millburn was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as West Essex apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Greg Rosenthal was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Matthew Weiner, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Millburn's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for West Essex, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.
