Baseball Recap: Steelton-Highspire Takes a Loss

The Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers lost 17-2 to the Tulpehocken Trojans on Thursday. The Steamrollers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Steelton-Highspire saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ni'Shaun Ward-McMullen, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Ward-McMullen is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Another was Judah Hernandez, who scored a run and stole Two bases.

Steelton-Highspire's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tulpehocken, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Steelton-Highspire will take on Middletown at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tulpehocken, they will challenge Upper Dauphin Area at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
