Softball Recap: Colorado Wins Going Away Against Eldorado

Colorado got themselves on the board against Eldorado on Friday, but Eldorado never followed suit. They blew past the Eagles 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Taelynn Oden was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bryanna Munoz, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.

Colorado was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .476. They are a perfect 11-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win made it two in a row for Colorado and bumps their season record up to 15-6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Eldorado, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Colorado has already played their next contest, an 18-3 win against Miles on the 28th. As for Eldorado, they are taking a road trip to square off against Christoval at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
