Basketball Recap: Turner Triumphs

Turner hadn't done well against North Star recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Turner Tornadoes walked away with a 57-46 win over the North Star Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tornadoes also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Turner has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for North Star, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Turner will welcome Chester-Joplin-Inverness at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Star, they will look to defend their home court on January 25th against Box Elder at 3:00 p.m.
