Volleyball Recap: Sierra Linda Bulldogs vs. Washington Rams

Sierra Linda had lost five straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 7-10 to make it six. They fell just short of the Washington Rams by a score of 3-2. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Saydi Poitier paced Sierra Linda's offense, picking up 18 kills. Poitier got some help from Sinais Bernal and her 29 assists. Poitier was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

As for Washington, with the victory, they broke their nine-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-15. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted against Sierra Linda since September 29, 2021.
