Marin Catholic blew past San Rafael 6-1 on Thursday. With that win, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 2.7 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting San Rafael from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Ava Korich led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Cardinal Newman didn't have quite enough to beat Analy on Thursday and fell 2-1. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marin Catholic's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four games. As for Cardinal Newman, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
