Basketball Recap: Licking Heights Takes a Loss

Licking Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 41-22 to the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Licking Heights' loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Johnstown-Monroe, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Zanesville the next time they take the court. Licking Heights will head out to face Zanesville at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, while Johnstown-Monroe will head out to face them at 6:45 p.m. on February 5th.
