Soccer Recap: Rise University Prep Comes Up Short

Rise University Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Drew Dragons. Rise University Prep were not able to make up for their defeat to Drew from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

Rise University Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Drew, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rise University Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pacific Bay Christian at 4:00 p.m. on October 14. As for Drew, they will face off against Jewish Community at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jewish Community's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
