Softball Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

After flying high against Palmdale on Thursday, Lancaster came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Paraclete Spirits on Monday, falling 12-4. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Spirits recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Jordyn Zinn made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-4.

Lancaster's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Paraclete, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lancaster will head out to take on Colton at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Paraclete, they will venture away from home to face off against St. Paul at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
