Basketball Game Preview: Xenia Buccaneers vs. Legacy Christian Academy Knights

The Xenia Buccaneers will head out on the road to take on the Legacy Christian Academy Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Xenia has given up an average of 56 points per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Legacy Christian Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 61-56 to Emmanuel Christian Academy. The Knights have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Xenia will have to keep a close watch on Jacob Thompson and Bo Thompson, a pair of players who had a big impact on Legacy Christian Academy's prior game. Jacob dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards, while Bo dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was Jacob's fifth in a row with at least 15 points.

Legacy Christian Academy's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Xenia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
