Football Game Preview: Telstar Rebels vs. Mount View Mustangs

The Telstar Rebels will face off against the Mount View Mustangs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Telstar is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: Old Orchard Beach, who was ranked first at the time (Telstar was ranked tenth). The Rebels were beaten by the Seagulls 60-0 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Seagulls: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Mount View took a blow against Washington Academy on Friday, falling 54-14.

Mount View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Telstar, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything came up roses for Telstar against Mount View in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 40-0 win. Do the Rebels have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
