Softball Recap: Hazleton Area Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hazleton Area can now relate to. They lost 17-7 to the Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack on Saturday. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Kayla Lagowy was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Hazleton Area's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Wilkes-Barre, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Hazleton Area nor Wilkes-Barre have any future games scheduled.
