On Thursday Locust Grove will have to hit the road after four straight games at home. They will venture away from home to square off against the McDonough Warhawks at 5:30 p.m. McDonough took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Locust Grove, who comes in off a win.
Locust Grove's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over Spalding. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, McDonough lost 18-6 to Woodland on Tuesday.
