Fort Vancouver made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Castle Rock, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Trappers were the clear victors by a 14-6 margin over the Rockets on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Trappers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Fort Vancouver's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-5-1. As for Castle Rock, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Fort Vancouver beat the Rockets by a score of 27-8 later that day.
