Basketball Recap: Doane Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Doane Academy can now relate to. They were beaten by Ranney 88-57 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Doane Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 258th, while Ranney is ranked 123rd).

Doane Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Ranney, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

As of now, neither Doane Academy nor Ranney have any future games scheduled.
