Morgan proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 15) but on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Viewmont Vikings 10-8. Winning may never get old, but Morgan sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Joesi Kelly was incredible, going 3-for-4 with a home run, five RBI, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Lexi Hardman, who went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, and a run.
On Viewmont's side, Kennedy Embrey was cooking despite her team's loss, going 4-for-4 with a home run, four runs, and three doubles.
