Baseball Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss

Elgin lost against Georgetown last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Elgin fell just short of Georgetown by a score of 4-3. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-1. As for Georgetown, they pushed their record up to 9-8-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Elgin Wildcats take on Pflugerville Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Georgetown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty Hill at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Liberty Hill will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Georgetown surely won't give up without a fight.
