 Ironton is on a six-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Dawson-Bryant is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end.   Abbie Deeds was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Deeds was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Izzy Kitts was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.  Rylee Black was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Ironton's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Dawson-Bryant, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 13 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record  this season.
 Both  both teams just can't seem to miss. Ironton has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 10.6  hits per game. However, it's not like Dawson-Bryant struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 5.4. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
