Pioneer Charter School of Science II entered their tilt with Excel Academy Charter on Friday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

Pioneer Charter School of Science II's got stronger as the match went on, holding Excel Academy Charter to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-12.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pioneer Charter School of Science II to victory, but perhaps none more so than Yurie Lee, who had four digs and two aces. Those four digs gave Lee a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Valeria Pineda, who had five digs and two aces.
