 The Newport Wildcats waltzed into their matchup  on Sunday with 22 straight wins  but they left with 23. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lloyd Memorial 68-29 on the road. Newport has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12  contests by 20  points or more this season.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Newport to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Tay Kinney, who  scored 13 points along with six  rebounds and five  assists. Kinney hasn't dropped below two  steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was  Jabari Covington, who  scored 14 points along with eight  rebounds.
 Newport is  on a roll lately: they've  won 24 of their last 25 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 31-3 record  this season. As for Lloyd Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-10.
 Newport is on the road again  on Tuesday and plays Cooper at 7:00  p.m.  on March 12th. Cooper has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 269 points over their last four matches. Lloyd Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
