Recap: Wootton Patriots vs. Quince Orchard Cougars
In what's become a running theme this season, the Wootton Patriots gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Quince Orchard with a sharp 60-40 win. The high-flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Wootton considering their 23-point performance the matchup before.
Despite the loss, Quince Orchard still got an impressive performance from Kasey Rappaport, who scored eight points along with six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Richardson, who scored ten points.
Wootton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for Quince Orchard, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Wootton will head out on the road to challenge Churchill at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Churchill: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Wootton has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. Quince Orchard will take on Gaithersburg at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Quince Orchard is facing Gaithersburg at the right time seeing as Gaithersburg is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
