Soccer Game Preview: Otsego vs. South Christian

The Otsego Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the South Christian Sailors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Otsego sitting on 13 straight wins and South Christian on ten.

Otsego's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Wayland 6-0. Considering Otsego have won ten matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Christian). They put the hurt on Hastings with a sharp 14-0 victory on Wednesday. South Christian's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Otsego's record now sits at 15-0-1. As for South Christian, their record is now 17-1-1.

Otsego might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from South Christian when the teams last played back in May of 2017. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
