Cranford scaled the state rankings by moving to 89 from 132 this week, the biggest jump in Mid-State 38 - Raritan. The Cougars were able to move up by defeating Palisades Park/Leonia 47-21.

Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Summit beat Governor Livingston 34-14. The victory was the 10th in a row for the Hilltoppers.

Cranford's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. John Oblachinski threw for 196 and 3 touchdowns and Jack McCaffery had 108 yards receiving. On the ground Oblachinski chipped in 111 yards. Luke Christiano helped Cranford's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 65 yards.

Erik Rosenmeier's team's dynamic duo of Oblachinski and McCaffery proved tough for the Tigers to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Christiano helped Cranford's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 65 yards.

He was 9-13 with 0 interceptions.

Abraham Clark's Jason McRae and Jean Athis led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback McRae has thrown for 1,167 yards this season, while Athis has 35 catches for 620 yards. Chris Ambrose from Delaware Valley leads the league in rushing with 834 yards.

The top two teams in Mid-State 38 - Raritan will face off this week when first place Summit takes on second place Cranford. Last week, Summit defeated the Highlanders, while the Cougars beat Palisades Park/Leonia.

Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Cranford takes on Kevin Kostibos' team. The Cougars' offense has racked up 247 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Hilltoppers have allowed only 164 on the year.

The Terriers lost to Weequahic 45-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ambrose ran for 35 yards in the defeat.
