Volleyball Recap: Augusta Prep Takes a Loss

Augusta Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Alleluia Community Angels. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Angels this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on September 8th.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-18.

Priyanka Patel paced Augusta Prep's offense, picking up three kills. Patel got some help from Brianna James and her four assists.

Augusta Prep's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Alleluia Community, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-2.

Augusta Prep has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lakeside on the 27th. As for Alleluia Community, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against The Habersham School on the 27th.
