Soccer Recap: Ripley Takes a Loss

Ripley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Itawamba Agricultural Indians. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in December of 2024.

Ripley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Itawamba Agricultural, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8-1 record this season.

Ripley will be playing at home against Center Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Itawamba Agricultural, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, an 11-0 victory against Tishomingo County on the 20th.
