Football Recap: William Penn Charter Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wyoming Seminary College Prep last Saturday, William Penn Charter came back down to earth. The Quakers took a 22-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kiski School Cougars on Saturday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Quakers came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Cougars are ranked 275th).

William Penn Charter now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Kiski School, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. William Penn Charter will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Haverford School at 1:00 p.m. on October 11. As for Kiski School, they will square off against Wyoming Seminary College Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
