Basketball Game Preview: Tinley Park Titans vs. Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals

Tinley Park and Blue Island Eisenhower are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The Tinley Park Titans will square off against the Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Thursday, Tinley Park was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 81-77 to Evergreen Park. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Blue Island Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 70-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Thornton Fractional North.

Blue Island Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Tinley Park, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Tinley Park couldn't quite finish off Blue Island Eisenhower when the teams last played back in January of 2024 and fell 61-58. Can Tinley Park avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
