Volleyball Game Preview: Wakefield Wolverines vs. Heritage Huskies + How To Watch

Wakefield hasn't had much luck against Heritage recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Wolverines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Wakefield proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Corinth Holders. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won three in a row.

Wakefield was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 21-25, 25-27, 25-23, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Heritage made easy work of Franklinton on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Heritage never let Franklinton on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 25-14.

Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Wakefield, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
